- Problems solved
- Our previous set up involved a number of systems having to speak to each other; Chamelio offers a 'one stop shop' for our contracts. Those integrations often broke so had to be monitored by a human and down time not only costs the business money but eats up time as we tried to fix what broke.
It is also incredibly user friendly, and can be adapted/updated with little to no technical training, which is a major time saver. Previously, the Legal team had to involve someone on the technical side or the vendor in order to make changes to flows or even update something as simple as a field title. Being able to quickly go in and do those things myself has been a game changer. It means that we can adapt as we get to know the platform and as the business changes, instead of sitting with the status quo until such a point that we have something significant enough to involve a technical team.
The feedback I'm getting is that as a whole the company is enjoying being able to lodge requests via Teams, as we are all in Teams all day long anyways. Not having to move to another platform is a plus.
- What could improve
- Not sure if it is possible, but we would love to see a way for attachments to be added via Teams when the request to Legal is submitted via a form. Right now, after the form is submitted via Teams, the requestor has to then click the link to Chamelio to upload any attachments they need Legal to see. For requestors to do this in one step one be very, very welcome.
Obviously, access to the agent needs to be limited for cost purposes, but I would love to see some more self-service availability for Viewers. For example, I would love for someone in Sales to be able to provide the contact info, etc. via teams and get a custom template sent back to them to send to a customer. I think figuring out some ways for more of the org to utilize the capabilities and not have to go through Legal would be more efficient and would be very well received by the employee base.
